Songwriting with Steven Battelle
Steven will be discussing the challenges of songwriting along with providing helpful technique for those struggling to reach their creative potential. Steven has an immense catalogue of music released as a solo artist, front man of the band Lost Alone and also as a 'ghost writer'. Joining us will be writer Edd Saffell from Eddie & The Wolves to add his thoughts in a panel discussion followed by question and answer session.
As songwriter, guitarist and vocalist for critically acclaimed harmony architects/riffology providers LostAlone Steven wrote every note, beat and lyric over the course of three critically acclaimed records and since has released a prog pop debut solo album Exit Brain Left and has just completed tracking of his second solo record in New York City.
Steven has toured the world playing everything for 500 cap venues up to the enormous arenas of the touring circuit. Steven’s debut solo show sold out in London and he continues to maintain a close relationship with the world wide fan base he has built up over the years on a mutual understanding of Steven's creative vision.
As a side to making music for himself Steven has written music for commercial usage including writing to specific briefs for brands including The New York Times, Vogue, Hunter, Steve Madden and Max Mara. He has written songs for a multitude of other artists and is currently in Kansas writing songs for and with established country artists.
Steven has been on major record labels, independent labels and has self released, he has been published, been unpublished and a little bit in-between.

Industry professionals will demystify each stage, adding valuable tips from their own wealth of knowledge giving each musician the necessary tools to improve their craft and further their career. These will take the form of a dedicated one hour workshop followed by an hour panel discussion and Q&A session with the group.
