Intellectual property is the generic name for trademarks, copyright, designs, patents and trade secrets and it is important to have a basic understanding.
This session led by ACID (Anti Copying in Design, will cover a basic introduction into the various IP rights and their use in IP protection, enforcement and exploitation. The session will be interactive and use case studies to demonstrate a link to learning.
Tips, practical advice and fact sheets will accompany the session. There will also be a short introduction to the UK’s leading IP, design and campaigning organisation, Anti Copying in Design (ACID).
