Throwing their weight behind the project is a handpicked group of 12 creative change-makers, business owners, pioneers and innovators. They have bags of experience from making their own mark in the creative industries, in fields including photography, performing arts, broadcasting and beyond. They understand first-hand the trials and tribulations of launching and successfully maintaining a business and they use their experience to help support members of the Real Creative Futures project.

Jonzi D is dancer, poet, actor and performer. He is the curator and host of Breakin’ Convention international hip hop festival, and a Sadler’s Wells Associate Artist.

Karen Sherwood is founder, director and curator of Cupola Gallery in Sheffield.
Louise Clements is Artistic Director at Derby QUAD and the co-founder and Director of FORMAT international photography festival.
Michael Pinchbeck is a writer, live artist and theatre maker based in Nottingham.
He co-founded Metro-Boulot-Dodo in 1997, and is co-director of Hatch, a live art platform in the East Midlands.
Sarah Sansom is the Artistic Director of Time Won’t Wait, a creative production company that is a maker and shaper of live performance and learning and change programmes. Sarah is also a performance coach working with people to stretch beyond their comfort zones and perform at their best.
Suzy Rai is an experienced business and personal performance coach, qualified marketeer, with over 15 years of experience as a business and organisational development consultant working across the public, private and voluntary sectors.
Threshold Studios is a media arts producer and consultancy based in the Midlands, with over 16 years of experience. As an artist-led organisation, Threshold Studios has been producing new media with specialisms in moving image, digital and emerging technologies.
